Stainless Railing Solutions posts are flange mounted to the top of your deck. Our
transformer
tops provide a convenient method of converting the rail
profile to fit your stainless railing application. No welding or onsite fabrication
is necessary.

SRS does not carry the top
rail. The railing is designed to accept a WOOD top
rail. One piece of 5/4 (1") X 6 (5 1/2") material is
all you need. Rip a 2" strip off of the 5 1/2"
board with a table saw for a block. Place the 3 1/2"
piece of wood on top of the posts and screw fast from
underneath. Then slip the block between the posts and
screw fast to the top rail. All fasteners will be hidden
form view. Plus, there is no waste when building the top
rail! |
